The play transfers the action to the present day
Tale
The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes his living by dealing the ultimate blows. He soon meets his partner in the form of a tenacious British intelligence officer who follows him on an exciting cat and mouse chase across Europe. “The Day of the Jackal”; The action of the novel took place in 1963 and concerned the assassination of then French President Charles de Gaulle.
very different facial expressions
A remake of The Day of the Jackal (1973). In my opinion, the series is worth watching, especially because Eddie Redmayne is simply phenomenal as the assassin. He plays his role in an extremely versatile way, in one scene he is very natural and loving as a family man, in another he is completely calculating and cold as ice and you can perfectly believe him.
It also includes unnecessary family scenes that completely distract from the actual plot
He also makes a very convincing impression as someone who really knows about weapons and even in action scenes he shows strength and dynamism and the ability to make quick decisions. On the other hand, the female lead of secret agent Bianca is unfortunately a very flat role of a woman who can only hit and in my opinion is not subtle at all. She is very ruthless, both towards her own family and sources, and gets much more screen time than the Jackal, which unfortunately slows down the tension more often.

I think her story is too big and her role too insensitive to consider the series 100% good. But because Eddie’s performance is so excellent and the series has an incredibly high aesthetic quality, great shots of cities and landscapes and top-notch James Bond music, I think it is worth watching. The new season of “Silos” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres of this month.
