Four children make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that sends them lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s little brothers is the same one that Chewbacca’s family watches in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).

From the previews I thought this was going to be terrible. I’ve only watched the first episode and was amazed at how enjoyable it was.

A kind of Spielberg-style Star Wars

I have high hopes for this one. It may be aimed at kids, but I still like this style of storytelling at my advanced age.

There’s even a little social commentary

The first episode was fun and engaging and it flowed well and didn’t take itself too seriously. So far it’s the second best series behind Endor, but that could change with more episodes.

I think this series is a good direction for the Disney/Star Wars combo
