Tale
Soria goes back to Cambodia on a quest to find herself after her mother’s death, where she finds a family she never knew and an old building full of dark secrets. The visuals are good. The cinematography, acting, and props are good, but at least for me and the people in the theater watching with me, it didn’t feel thrilling. It was a bit boring for a horror movie. The next events and the ending were predictable and not unexpected. It ran for over 1 hour but felt very short and unsatisfying. Also, was it just me or was it not explained well enough what really happened to her mother? What she did made the people in the building go crazy with her. What happened back then to make things like this happen today? Is there always a curse in the building? Who was the first old lady in the rocking chair? Who is Metta really? Crazy.
